Created by Niko Tracksdorf, Herausgeber and co-author of the textbook series, they are independent projects with no association with Klett World Languages, and are currently available to prototype testers and research collaborators only.
Students practice their interpersonal speaking skills in German with an AI conversation partner that adapts to the curriculum. Vocabulary, grammar, and topics align with exactly what has been covered in class. Instructors can create student access codes with flexible topic selection or assign specific chapters with deadlines. Afterward, students receive detailed feedback based on curriculum-aligned Can-Do statements.

The Text Analyzer checks each text against the Impuls Deutsch curriculum and provides a readability score with word-by-word color coding, replacement suggestions, sentence rewriting, auto-adaptation, word lookup, batch comparison, and PDF export for student and teacher use.
Analyze Text →Students master the vocabulary of the Impuls Deutsch curriculum through spaced repetition and a variety of study modes—listening, speaking, reading, picture matching, writing, and fill-in-the-blank—each with audio, images, and example sentences. Instructors assign specific chapters with deadlines, set the study depth, and adjust accommodations per class. As students progress, the tool tracks mastery over time and reports pacing and grades curriculum-aligned to exactly what has been covered in class.
